Marriage is a social compulsion. Nowadays the youth are more concerned for Higher education, Enjoying bachelor life, being independent, and  economic security. Marriage is no more the priority for them and career has become the priority for the youth of today because of which marriage gets delayed. Hence by the time they become financially stable they have almost crossed the age of 30 due to which their marriage options gets limited.

Naturally when the girl and boy are unmarried till the age of 30 , they have limited choices for suitable partners, which then lead to frustrations , depression , and also interference in their life by relatives and friends . Also most of their friends are married and have kids also.

Now whenever they attend any family function or visit their family during a festival , everyone is eager to know about their  marriage plans and they do not have any replies to their queries. And finally they start thinking that in spite of a stable career, social status and financial security , why marriage becomes a difficult proposition for them.

This unexpected delay in the marriage opens a new Pandora box full of problems. Their dejected parents now start visiting astrologers looking for the reasons for the delay. The astrologers then start giving reasons that the boy/ girl is Manglik, or that the placement of Shani is malefic, or that it is due to Rahu/ Ketu dasha etc etc . Then the astrologers start giving opinions on the remedies for the particular problems. Even after going through all this they are unable to understand the reasons for the delay in marriage,
